I haven't gotten comments on this blog for some time, and I suspect it's because of the way Blogger has changed moderation. I've adjusted my settings, but who knows if that will work?
I'd appreciate it if you would post a comment, though...I feel sort of lonely out here by myself!
LOL! You're not alone! I got your email about your new site and just popped over there to sign up on that list. Good luck in the transition. Always so exciting...
ReplyDeleteI was able to sign up for notifications about classes.I hope I will be able to leave comments, too, but at least one blog platform
ReplyDeleteM will not allow me to comment. Wish I could remember which one😂. I’m told it’s a problem with Macintosh products.
For the longest time blogger wouldn't let me comment no anything. And then, all of a sudden, I am able to do so again. No idea why in either case.
ReplyDeleteI was on your YouTube Channel yesterday and I will make a one sheet folded journal soon. Enjoying your updates!
ReplyDeleteHope this comment gets to you, Cathy. I follow you on IG, and love what you do. Still navigating my way through your website and blog.
ReplyDeleteI so know the feeling Kate -- my own blog barely gets a comment these days ... but I LOVE yours!!! Follow you on FB too ... So appreciate all you taught me those many years ago! HUGS!
ReplyDeleteHere you go...a comment! The changes are looking good, and I look forward to hearing from you more and seeing what you are sketching!
ReplyDeleteHi Kate - I got so fed up with the limitations on Blogger that a few months ago I took the huge step of moving my ten years worth of Blogger posts to Wordpress. I'm so glad I did. If you ever decide to go that route, I have someone who can help. I definitely wouldn't have been able to figure it out on my own. Anyway, I want you to know that you've been an inspiration to me from the time I started sketching, and I still love seeing and reading your new posts.
ReplyDeleteI did make a Wordprss blog years ago but never made the transfer! Thanks for the offer, maybe sometime I will!
DeleteOh, Kate, missing you on flickr... I know you are on fcb, but it is too large platform to me... Your blog is something in between... You are my unforgetable first teacher... admire your art and love your miniclasses and videos...!
ReplyDeleteYou are not alone - we are here, enjoying, learning and thinking. All good things.
ReplyDeleteI like the new website...looking good!
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm enjoying what you are doing!!
ReplyDeleteTrying again! Let’s see what happens!
ReplyDeleteHey! It worked without me signing in! Yay!
ReplyDeleteHappy to oblige, but it looks like you are getting plenty of comments, at least on this post. I know I covet comments on my blog, too. Kinda makes it feel like a conversation, not just a lecture.
ReplyDeleteWe'll see if this works, usually not. But I suspect you have many more people out here than CAN comment!
ReplyDeleteHi Kate,
ReplyDeleteI've been enjoying your book Painting Nature's Details in Watercolor. I take it out in the field with me when I go out to play with my paintbrushes. You are an inspiration, and you have taught me so much about simplifying my paintings, and choosing the areas I want to do in detail. Thank you!
Bonsoir, ma chère amie. Just about to toddle upstairs to read in bed, but wanted to make sure to check in here for you. What is our time difference? And next weekend we get thrown aback with Daylight Savings Time. May you have a sound sleep tonight.
ReplyDeleteI keep up with my art blogs through 'feedly' so if I ever want to comment I need to go to the actual blog website to do so. That is something that interferes with me commenting. Your Country Living art, books, website, Flickr images etc were the first that led me back into my own art journey years ago. I still love your work and am happy to see the refreshing of your online presence. I pray you have had peace and wellbeing despite the hard season we've all endured. Always inspired by your style!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, all! I'm very grateful for your feedback. Glad to know it's working, too!
ReplyDeleteHi Kate, I have recently "found" your work and your site. I am pleased to now own several of your books on art journaling and watercolor, and I thank you for signing the copy I purchased from your website. Your approach to watercolor and journaling is so inspiring and welcoming. I am very happy to have become aware of all your wonderful work and I appreciate the advice you share with other artists.I have made a conscious decision to focus my work on line and watercolor for the next year in an effort to create more focus in my art practice. You have been a big help in moving me in this direction.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! Focus really CAN help...
