"Flame Flower"
original watercolor on paper
8" x 7-1/2" This was done in watercolor and liquid dye watercolor; the vibration between the lovely velvet center of the poppy and the silk-like leaves was what caught my eye--once I got past being stunned by those vivid colors! Just the thing to counteract the chill... Fabriano cold-pressed paper archival

  5. Hi Mary! I sort of feel as if I'm pushing a large rock uphill, trying to learn a new system, but Blogger IS pretty easy, if a little more limited than I thought. I'll figure it out...and thank you so much for your kind words, I was always pleased with the flower...

  6. Nel, setting prices is always the most difficult for me! But the ones that I'm letting go unmatted and unframed, I can afford to put a reasonable price on...I do want to make original art available to a wider audience.
