I'm either checking it, sharing, or frustrated because it's not working right, it's slow, or won't connect at all! It DOES take good photos if you don't need a zoom, and it shares more easily than downloading from my camera, but EEEK, another temptation/distraction! Obviously *I* need to pay attention to myself as well.Kate (Cathy Johnson)https://www.blogger.com/profile/03296053923338246127noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7708111215873269960.post-41430475093892504252017-07-23T18:49:02.242-05:002017-07-23T18:49:02.242-05:00Oh dear God, it WAS three years ago!

As an introvert, as much going and doing as I've done lately would have worn me to a threadneedle some weeks (or months), but I'm either getting used to it or it's my more sociable phase.

I've had a rather dry period, not sketching nearly as much and trying NOT to make it a job. My month in Maine with no reliable internet or cell signal was very helpful for breaking me out of the habit of frequently checking online "briefly" (which often ends up not being so brief), but I am finding myself slipping back into it, so I am glad you reposted this. What was too much last month is okay this month and may not be enough next month. But creating for myself and not for the lure of likes and affirmation is my touchstone. When I simply don't connect to my work anymore, I know it's time to step back and let a new balance settle in (which is much easier to say than do!).Laure Ferlitahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14966163843633158039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7708111215873269960.post-70796080562768941872014-07-28T12:01:24.922-05:002014-07-28T12:01:24.922-05:00I am reading more and of course spending more time...I am reading more and of course spending more time with Bill.
