I was much taken by the Mission at San Juan Capistrano--I think I could have sketched and painted there for days. Here, you see the shadowy view through one of the buildings, a cool refuge within thick adobe walls. This is where I went to mass, in the older church. And though now a Buddhist, if I lived here, I would chose a Spanish mass and go frequently. Love your art . . .
