original, matted watercolor on paper
9 x 12

I taught a workshop at Maine Coast Art Workshops (in Port Clyde, Maine, at the time) and have been captivated by the coast of Maine ever since. The early morning fog, the scent and sounds of the ocean, the people up and about, working in the early morning...

This boat was no longer in use, but in my mind's eye I could see the skipper there on the deck, surrounded by the lobster traps nearby.

This one will come to you matted in archival matboard in a neutral off-white, ready to frame to your personal taste.

  1. Hi Kate,
I found your blog through Toni's Spattering. I'm delighted to find your blog and see some of your newer work. I have two of your books so it has been fun to find you here in the blog world, too.

I was interested to see your embedded paypal links. I had not discovered that feature, even though I have an account connected to my web page. What a great blog idea. If you have a handy link for "how to", that would be great. Love your work. Vickie

  2. Hi Vickie, and thank you for the kind words! How lovely of Toni to add the link to my blog. It's simple to do the link--just go to your PayPal account and look at the Merchant Services tab. That will lead you through the process!

I'd love your feedback...please share your thoughts!
